This was a big week for Ada: She went to the dentist for the 1st time! And while Josh and I were a bit trepidacious about this new endeavor, it went very well! I had heard that the dentist was not a necessity until about 2 yrs old, but this dentist, a pediatric dentist (which I highly reccomend as they deal with kids all day so Ada was a walk in the park for him) told us to come in. Yeah, why not bring in a nearly 15 month old who hates to sit still for more than 20 seconds? So in we went. She laid down very well, but was very wary until they showed her the TV directly over her head as she was laying down, with Finding Nemo on. She just pointed and laughed at it; it was priceless. The doctor was almost over the top, but who isn't who deals with kids all day? She cried when he looked in her mouth, but it kept her mouth open so that worked out, and he was quick. She got a goodie bag, which she did not put down and threw a fit whenever we took it away from her - like when she ate or slept, we're horrible parents!

Check this kid out
Everyone, you really need to watch the new video. Josh went to get Ada this morning as he heard a strange noise coming from her room; it sounded like she was knocking on her own door (and her crib is too far away to do this). Upon opening the door, she immediately ran out. Wondering how she accomplished this task, Josh put her back in her crib and watched her get out. So that's definitely something to see. We just received Roarkes' cloth diapers and Adas' bigger ones so here's to washing diapers way more often!! So also check out our pictures below and see what else we have been up to!

3 years and counting
We have just passed the 3 yr mark and it has been an exciting 3 years! To recap th last 3 years: For our honeymoon we went to the British Virgin Islands, Cooper Island to be specific; 1st anniversary we drove across the country to end up where we are now in Idaho; 2nd anniversary we went with Ada to Bear Lake in Idaho for a few days; and well 3rd anniversary wasn't as dramatic but it was great nonetheless. As Roarke is, and was so young, we were just thankful to get out of the house! Luckily, Devin and Leo watched both him and Ada so we could go out to see a movie and go to our favorite date night stop called the Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe where the cupcakes are very expensive, but awesome and where their cocoa is so refined their hot cocoa drinks almost resemble coffee! We saw the 2nd Transformers movie and although it was a bit long at 144 mins, it was a great movie. There are no pictures of that great anniversary but here are some pics of the kids to make up for it!
