1 Month Old

This past Friday, our little baby girl was not so little. She is now 9 lbs 13 oz and 24 inches long! She is now a month old, and whereas it is not her first birthday or anything, you have to celebrate the little things!

A visit from Papa

We had a great visit from Papa Jones this past week. We went shopping in Idaho Falls, went on a tram in Jackson Hole up into the Grand Tetons, saw a movie and had a great time!

I am Mobile!

Ada is now a whopping 2 weeks old! I guess time flies when you are having fun. This week Ada has lost her umbilical cord, has decided that she likes the sling Mom puts her in, and likes watching TV with Dad (she is not quite into watching Dad play video games, or so much into him holding her while he plays but apparently it is an acquired taste which she will just need to grow into!).

First Week Home

Hello Again!
This has been a great week! We were blessed enough to have my mom, stepdad, brother Will and Sister Skye here (along with Devin) on vacation and to help us with Ada. Ada looks like she will be having blue eyes and brown hair and she is the cutest thing in the world! She is active, does not cry a lot (which is a nice bonus), smiles all the time and loves her daddy. During her first week, she has gone to the park, gone out on walks, gone bowling, seen the doctor and had her first bath. She had a very trying day on Monday when she went to see the doctor for the first time, which wasn't bad, but the second PKU she had right after was. The lady in the hospital was not very nice and for the first time Ada employed the full use of her lungs. Needless to say, she slept the rest of the day!

Arrival of baby Ada

Hello All,
Just got home from the hospital yesterday but I wanted to let you all know that our little Ada arrived on July 1st at 10:27 am weighing in at 7 lbs 11 oz and measuring 19 in.
We love you all and more will follow later!

Lately

Many of you may be wondering what we have been up to lately! Well, we are 35 weeks pregnant and I have had my baby shower as well. So here are some pics chronicling what we have been doing!

Our house...is a very, very, very fine house...

Ok so we don't have cats in the yard, but we do have a cool place. And with the new improvements we have made around here, it looks even more cool. We still need to get some new pics up of what we look like, as I am bigger, but Josh never seems to think he looks good enough. We had planned on taking the new pics yesterday, but he said he looked like a peacock and he didn't want to take pictures of it. So you will all have to suffice with the pics of the babys' room until I can finagle him into taking a picture. But moving things around and putting together baby furniture has made us really start to realize...we are having a baby...and soon (as if the big belly and mood swings weren't warning enough!). Enjoy!
